1.) What was your first OTP and your first fandom, and what do you think of them now?

My first fandom was probably Harry Potter. I family!shipped Harry Potter/All the Weasleys.

I still love the HP fandom a lot, especially since Potterheads have been the most visible and creative geeks in my life: I’ve gotten to try Butterbeer, participated in a Philosopher’s Stone scavenger hunt, gotten free juice at a store that refashioned itself “The Leaky Cauldron” during the release party for book five. Growing up in a culture of quirky enthusiasm for reading has done so much for me.

I still family!ship Harry Potter with the Weasleys, maybe even harder than I used to. But every time I’ve put “Harry Potter” and “Molly Weasley” into fanfiction.net’s character search, time-travel romance fics show up instead of family ones! AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO REALLY WANTS TO JUST READ MOLLY WEASLEY ACTING LIKE A MOTHER TO HARRY?

2.) What was your favorite movie as a child? How about favorite book?

I didn’t really have one. I loved pretty much all the movies I watched as a kid, usually my siblings were the ones who cared enough to choose.

In The Small, Small Pond (by Denise Fleming) was my favorite book when I was learning how to read. I think I might have memorized it before I actually knew how to read it.

3.) Favorite foods? What about favorite things to drink?

I love sweet potato stew, vegetable lo mein, szechuan tofu, and anything that you can get at an Indian food buffet in the United States.

Ooh, and buttermilk biscuits. And buttermilk ice cream.

My favorite thing to drink is water, actually, although I also cycle between craving soy milk and craving whole milk.

4.) Are there any fictional characters you identify with in particular?

Maybe Haruhi Fujioka. Not the part about having a bunch of rich flamboyant men falling all over themselves for me, though.

5.) If you could put any actors in a film together, what actors? And what sort of film would it be?

Think of what Death Note and Sherlock have in common. I want another film that has those things. But where there is also a lot of loyalty and family and friendship that warms your soul even while all the suspenseful stuff is happening!

Just get good actors. I’m always willing to discover a few new ones.

6.) What would you like to be doing in the future? Do you think you’ll raise a family? What kind of job do you see yourself doing?

I’m going to foster at least two cats, and also one dog. I’m going to live someplace with a roommate or two or three, and I’m going to have a guest bedroom/comfy poofy bed on the floor where any old friend of mine can come and sleep, no notice required, whenever they want to take a break from their busy lives. And I will make them sweet potato stew, or, you know, something else if they don’t like sweet potato stew.

I kinda want to be a foster parent if I ever develop the parenting skills, and I will read aloud to the children who will let me like my mom used to for me.

Still not really sure what my dream job is, although working in education reform and anti-bullying campaigns would be great.

7.) A gushing question, because the person that tagged me gave me one. Give us your feels about your favorite actors, movies, books, whatever you like.
CASE 4 OF PHOENIX WRIGHT: JUSTICE FOR ALL AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Also: I LOVE being a Hufflepuff! I self-sort into Hufflepuff! I know some people look down on Hufflepuff as being the place where you go if you’re not good enough for any of the other houses, but you know what? That’s one of the reasons WHY I like Hufflepuff! You don’t have to prove anything to anyone to be considered worthy of a magical education! You’re inherently worthwhile! We value people just for being people, and in that way I think we’re opening ourselves up to the biggest learning and greatest happiness of all! And fostering loyalty, friendliness, and hard work only makes it better!

8.) Any allergies?
Perfume gives me a headache, even when it’s just a small amount on other people. I’ve also had to put my head between my knees to keep from passing out after taking certain painkillers.

9.) Weirdest or most interesting dream you can remember?

Uh… I had a pet dragon in a dream once. That was cool.

10.) What do you like doing in your spare time, besides tumblr?
My favorite is coming up with various stories in my head and then running up and down the stairs as I think my way through various scenes.

11.) If you could put any fictional hero against any fictional villain, who would you put with who? What would their relationship be like? Would they be mortal enemies, or get along?
…I just thought of Peter Burke (White Collar) versus Loki (Avengers). Because Loki has such huge daddy issues, and Peter just acts like the most dadlike human being in existence. I think once Peter surprises Loki into respecting him instead of just thinking of him as a puny mortal, Loki will start coming to him for advice on random shit. And Peter will just kind of sigh, you know, and be all “This was supposed to be a quiet night in with my wife…” and then Elizabeth Burke will cut him off and be like “Aw, come on in, Peter’s made pot roast.”

And that will be that.
